Who we are

The website

The website uses no cookies, no analytics or tracking tools, and loads nothing from third parties: fonts and images are served from the same server.

Like any server, the web server logs the IP address, the time and the page requested, for operation and security. The hosting provider keeps these logs for at most 30 days.

The quote form sends nothing to the site: it opens your email app with the message filled in, and you decide whether to send it.

When you contact us

What you send us by email, phone or WhatsApp (name, company, phone, email, message) is used only to answer you and prepare your quote — on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps before a contract). We keep it for as long as the conversation lasts and, if you become a customer, for the business relationship and the legal retention periods.

The SicSat Field app

Measurements, projects, drawings, photos, voice notes and the GNSS position stay on your phone. We do not receive them; they go elsewhere only when you export or send them.

Licensing: when a trial starts and when a licence is activated or renewed, the app sends our server an anonymised device identifier (a cryptographic fingerprint, not the identifier itself), a public key created on the phone, the app version and, necessarily, the IP address. We use them to grant and check the licence and to prevent abuse — on the basis of the contract and our legitimate interest. We keep them while the licence is active and then for the legal periods.

Updates: the app asks our server from time to time whether there is a new version; the request carries the installed version and the IP address.

eTerra: you sign in directly with ANCPI, in a web window; the app does not keep the password, only the session, on the phone.

NTRIP corrections: the sign-⁠in details of the service you choose (ROMPOS, for example) stay on the phone and go only to that service, together with the approximate position corrections need.

Base maps load from the providers you choose (for example Google, OpenStreetMap or ANCPI), which see the phone’s IP address.

Who we share data with

We do not sell or rent data. Only the providers hosting our servers and email can see it, within the service they provide to us.
